Biography:
Chiodi Gianluca grew up in Milan and Reggio Emilia, thirty began to devote himself to photography. The passion and the skillful use of light soon led him to work for the advertising world , without neglecting the constant search for new ” points of view” , original and introspective . In 2003, Chiodi Gianluca at the first solo show , at a Literary Cafe , where he presented the cycle ” Moka” , a series of images stolen from the daily ritual of all Italian coffee. This image , which realizes directly on the stove at home getting details “macro” full of sensuality tactile / olfactory , the works are printed directly on aluminum to strengthen the relationship subject / support . In the same year he exhibited at the Cloisters of Ghiara in Reggio Emilia ” Antibody “, where the artist expresses himself using naked bodies returned to the subject through the use of light and brush with a clever use of the color black . March 2009 Chiodi Gianluca sees the first solo exhibition in Milan Public titled ” Matrioska ” dolls living in a state of gentle grace , a tribute to the generosity of women and fertility of the land. In 2011 Chiodi Gianluca, on the occasion of the project sponsored by the Bernareggi Museum in collaboration with the Bergamo galleries , gallery Marelia presents the solo exhibition , ” If the Spotless Mind , ” the chance to enjoy a unique event in the aesthetic experience of the artist , selected through the filter of biblical themes
That same year, Sabrina Raffaghello invited him to participate in the Biennial of Photography in Alessandria where Chiodi Gianluca presents ” Small Worlds,” an installation of suspended glass globes in which, viewed through an eyepiece , are enclosed portraits of people in their home cosiness or work .
